To my loyal & valued customers,
Recent fishing trips have been met with mixed results.
October 14th & 15th – the closeout of the season in NH was spent in Pittsburg, NH. — rain and snow were the order of the day(s). We caught enough fish to satisfy our urge for a “tug”. Rainbows, browns, brookies & salmon were stuck with sharp objects. Three of us had fun, many laughs and ate great food.
October 27th — trip to Waterbury, VT. and Northfield, VT. to fish 2 difficult rivers before the closeout on 10/31/24. Absolutely no luck!! Didn’t see a fish. Drove 7 hours which was foolish and unplanned. Vermont is like us in that it has NO WATER in the streams and rivers. Did find a fabulous apple pie of which I made ownership!! All was not lost. Broke my cardinal rule — never drive in a day more than I spend time fishing — lesson learned AGAIN.

If you have excess fly-tying materials — hooks, feather, beads, please bring them into the shop. We are going to begin a monthly donation to Project Healing Waters Fly Tying program. Myself and Jon Sweatman will coordinate getting these materials to the program each month.
Thank you for your kindness to these veterans.
