Charlie has been teaching fly tying and fly casting for over 40 years. His willingness to reveal the joys of fly fishing and his ability to easily and simply pass on the techniques of the sport makes him one of the most respected and sought-after instructors in the region.

The Evening Sun Fly Shop offers formal classes and personal one-on-one instruction at all levels of ability. Classes can be customized for families, corporations, or organizations. Instruction is offered in fly casting (both fresh and saltwater techniques), fly tying (all skill levels – all types of flies), knot management, and fly fishing techniques.
