As I approach my 18th anniversary on 3/6/24 at the shop, one word sticks out. GRATITUDE!! Without each and every customer supporting my shop I would not be writing this newsletter. What you have done for me and my family is overwhelming. As customers, you have contributed individually and collectively to growing a small business. You have allowed me to give back to you all that I can in the fly-fishing arena. It has been a pleasure serving you and I look forward to many more years of fulfilling your fly-fishing needs. Thank you is my best way of expressing my GRATITUDE.
Each month going forward I am embarking on a new fly program called the “MAGNIFICENT SEVEN”. A display at the shop will have many flies on it. Pick out any 7 for just $11.99. This is a chance to get some new stuff for your fly boxes at a very nice price. Come in to see the very 1st new lineup of choices. Dries, nymphs and streamers will be offered.
Pat Perkins — In addition to building a superb bamboo rod is now doing restorations on all types of bamboo rods. If you have a bamboo road and it is in need of repair, please contact the shop for details.

NEWS FLASH — ESFS March 2024 Shop Presentation
Don’t miss Jonathan Bunker’s presentation on Sunday, March 3rd at the shop. He will be offering a raffle for $20.00 to win a 1/2 day guided trip on the Deerfield River from a boat. This is a $500.00 value. Only 15 people or so will get a chance at this. There are only 5 spaces left for this event. Call of email to get one of the last spots. Please bring cash only for your raffle ticket. Presentation will start at 11:30am and last for about 1 hour with plenty of time for Q&A.
ESFS March 2024 Fly Tyers Corner Sessions
1) Date Pending TBD — Ryan Le Clerc will do a tying seminar on some of his favorite patterns to fish the Swift River in Belchertown. He has created some deadly patterns for the river. Call or email the shop for details. No charge to all. Seminar begins at 11am and goes until 1:30pm.
2) Sunday, March 10th — Tyler Farmer will be demonstrating how to tie articulated streamers for use in attracting and catching large browns. Tyler is from Michigan and has been tying and using streamers for years with great success.
