STOCKING REPORT

Evening Sun Fly Shop - Rainbow Trout with Fly Rod

SQUANACOOK RIVER

The Squanacook was stocked with 2,000 fish on May 13 & 14. One thousand were stocked from the Townsend Harbor dam upstream and another thousand from the dam downstream. This is in addition to a 1,000 fish that were stocked on April 22.

NISSITISSIT RIVER

The Nissitissit was float stocked with canoes on May 17. Charlie and 12 volunteers from the local chapter of Trout Unlimited and his shop stocked 1,020 browns and rainbows in the river. This is in addition to up wards of 1,000 fish that were stocked on April 20.

Go get em' before the herons do!
