Charlie Shadan, owner and operator of the Evening Sun Fly Shop, has been fly fishing and fly tying for decades. His ambition is to take the mystery and perception of high cost out of fly fishing.

Charlie believes that fly fishing, as a sport, should be accessible to anyone who wants to learn. And that fly fishing, as a part of a personal philosophy, helps instill a greater respect for a person's environment and community.

Charlie served for two years as the president of the Squan-a-tissit Chapter of Trout Unlimited and is currently the chair of the chapter's Membership Committee. He is intimately familiar with over 50 area rivers and streams.

Charlie is happy to create custom kits, fly collections, training schedules or events for individuals, organizations or municipalities.
